From Northern West Virginia to the next open road, we’re a chapter built on friendship, family, and a shared love of motorcycling.
Our West Virginia story.
West Virginia II received its charter on August 21, 1987, after members from Northern West Virginia came together to form a chapter of their own. Many had ridden with Pennsylvania Chapter I in Greensburg since 1982.
Our roots reach across Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, and Preston counties, with members from local police departments, sheriff’s departments, transportation law enforcement, and retired state police. Anmoore, just south of Clarksburg off Interstate 79, is our chapter’s home.
Part of a larger family.
The Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club began in Bangor, Maine, in April 1974. Police officer Ed Gallant and a small group of fellow law enforcement officers shared an idea: a motorcycle club for people in law enforcement.
That idea grew into an international family. Spouses and children join in rides and gatherings, and fellow Knights offer friendship and assistance wherever the road leads.
What brings us together.
- Mutual assistance, fellowship, and the well-being of our members and communities.
- Promoting motorcycling and safe, responsible riding.
- Serving the interests of motorcycle owners and riders.
- Building friendship between law enforcement and the general public.
- Giving back to charities, especially those that help children.
